Subway No 85

The Subway, along the Left Fork river in Zion National Park, Utah.
After studying this location in two separate occasions, I envisioned two approaches that I wanted to fulfill:

- a Honor the Place take, open and full of context.
- a more constrained composition that exalts the details of the place.

This is a beautiful place that easily overloads the senses. Add to that the constant traffic of photographers and hikers....and you end up with a very tough time focusing on the task at hand.

Yet once you identify these challenges, they can bring extra motivation to identify and fulfill your vision.
