This is one of the many hidden slot canyons in this area. The area is vast and beautiful, but most of all, inviting to explore and wander.
The sculpted sandstone offers all king of possibilities and approaches for photography. Contextual, abstract, documentary.
In this round of explorations, I could not shake off the fascination that prevents a more detached and objective approach to landscape photography. So, knowing this, I embraced the fascination and let that motif take over my framing and composition.
No doubt that I will be back for more and see if the fascination has worn off.
